Metairie -- Fox's hit TV show "Glee" inspired some Metairie high school students to enter a contest that made them number one on a nationwide stage.

The Haynes Academy choral students belted out their best Glee-like performance in a video posted on YouTube. YouTube: "Haynes Academy Classroom Musical"                     The syndicated radio show Kidd Kraddick in the morning was looking for the best classroom musical video in the Glee style.The winner gets $1500 for a classrroom makeover.Haynes beat out all the competition in the high school category nationwide.
