Happy New Year!  As we begin a new semester at Haynes, some of our students will be taking a PE course for the first time.  PE uniforms are a requirement.  They will be sold by the coaches during the first week of classes.  Shirts are $10 each and shorts are $10 each.  Don't forget that the baseball team is selling athletic drawstring bags in the office for $10.  These are optional, but they make a great place to hold sneakers or tennis shoes and to carry home PE uniforms for the laundry! Any student or parent is able to purchase the bags.  See Ms. Karen in the office.  Cash or checks are acceptable for all items.

Advanced Study Academies Application Process 2011-2012
The Jefferson Parish Public School system's application, testing, and admissions process involving the advanced study academies is under review.  Proposed changes will be presented to the School Board at its meeting on February 2, 2011 for discussion and approval.  The application period and an outline of the entire process will be announced and posted shortly after the meeting on February 2, 2011.  Thank you.
